Saint Thérèse of Carmel Parish and Catholic Answers 6:30 PM - Wine & Cheese Often when we talk about the Eucharist, our conversations focus on establishing that the Real Presence is true: That Jesus is truly is present, body and blood, soul and divinity, in the Eucharist. These conversations are critical, agrees Catholic Answers apologist, Joe Heschmeyer, but he adds that also what is meant for the Eucharist to be the “source and summit” of the Catholic Faith is that there is a real sense in which the Eucharist makes sense of the rest of Christianity. Joe is the author of 123, and his talk will help you move from apologetics to an intimate relationship with Our Lord in the Blessed Sacrament—one that informs every single moment and aspect of your life.
