Hi Everyone!
Hi my name is Catherine Marshall and I am the Director of Music at St. Thérèse of Carmel. I oversee all the music happening at STOC, including weddings and funerals, and direct the Parish and Youth and Young Adult Choirs. I also work with the NDA choir, often coordinate music for diocesan liturgies, and get to work with our two other fantastic group directors, Joey Jamias and Laura Lotz.I grew up in San Diego as a part of the STOC family, and I feel so blessed to get to serve my home parish community now. I went to school at UC Santa Barbara and San Diego State University, where I studied flute, voice, and choral conducting. I am currently working on my Artist Diploma in Choral Conducting. In my free time, I love walking at Sunset Cliffs, learning about the faith, and cultivating my community of Catholic young adults.
