Every baby saved from in front of the abortion mill is a cause for joy. However, the initial save from the mill is often just the first step in the path to life for the unborn baby. Culture of Life Family Services (COLFS) is a place where women can be sent for a free ultrasound and competent medical advice. Nearly all women who can be intercepted from the major abortion mills in San Diego are sent by the sidewalk counselors to COLFS. There is a very high rate of decision for life, once a mother gets to see an ultra sound of her baby. Women in crisis pregnancies can get these services for free. But we all know they are not without cost. We have an opportunity to do our part in supporting COLFS. Go to www.colfs.org to support COLFS.

San Diego Friends of Fair Trade is a coalition of non-profit organizations and congregations attempting to advance the cause of fair trade. They work to insure that all individuals who toil, both at home and around the world, to provide consumers with commodities are paid a living wage, one that can sustain a life with dignity.

North County parishioners meet each Monday of the month from 10:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. to peacefully pray the rosary in front of the Carlsbad Planned Parenthood Clinic. The Goretti Group offers a monthly Chastemasters meeting, where people will come together to learn how to speak and write about Chastity and Theology of the Body in an effective and appealing way, on the third Tuesday of every month from 7:00 – 8:30 p.m. at the Our Lady of the Rosary Pastoral Center (1629 Columbia St, 92101).
