Summer Movie Nights
Attention 5th - 8th Graders: Join us for Middle School Movie Night on Saturday, August 7th from 6:30 p.m. - 9:30 p.m. in the Youth Room. We will be watching Joseph, King of Dreams, the biblical story about recounting the tale of Joseph, the dreamer who gets sold into slavery by his brothers, shipped to Egypt and gets out of prison by becoming the dream interpreter for the Pharoah.
Attention 9th-12th Graders: Join us for High School Movie Night on Saturday, August 14th from 6:30 p.m. - 9:30 p.m. in the Youth Room.

Krispy Kreme Fundraiser
Want a free Krispy Kreme donut? Then come sell donuts after the 9 a.m. and 11 a.m. Masses on Sunday, August 8th to raise money for youth programs like mission trips, retreats, and World Youth Day 2011 in Spain. RSVP by Friday, July 9th.

Steubenville San Diego 2010
Want to experience your faith like never before?
Steubenville San Diego is a Catholic Youth Conference offfers young people a chance to experience their faith like never before through Live Praise & Worship Music, Inspiring Speakers, Adoration, and Mass with the Bishop! Steubenville is open to all high school youth, incoming freshman (entering 9th grade in Fall 2010) through graduating seniors (Class of 2010). It is held the weekend of Friday, July 23rd - Sunday, July 25th at San Diego State University.
Camp Emmaus Leadership Conference
Want to develop leadership skills and learn how to serve the poor?
Camp Emmaus is a Catholic Leadership Conference for High School Youth, 10th - 12th grade, held at Whispering Winds Camp near Julian, CA this summer from August 1st - August 5th. The cost is $265 per person.

God's Rave is a Worship Night and Bible Study for 8th - 12th graders that meets every Wednesdays, 7:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m., at Olivenhain Town Hall, 423 Rancho Santa Fe Rd. RSVP to meet at the Church at 6:30 p.m. to carpool.

Youth Group

World Youth Day 2011
Wanna go to Spain and see the Pope?
St. Therese of Carmel is taking a group to World Youth Day 2011 in Madrid, Spain the week of August 16th - 21st, 2011. The conference includes concerts, inspiring speakers, touring Spain, and Mass with the Pope!

Youth Choir
Youth Choir is a choral group for 5th-8th graders that leads the music at the 11:00 a.m. Mass on the first Sunday of the Month. Under the musical direction of Tony Krzmarzick and Theresa Coggeshall, young people will explore a wide variety of Liturgical music, learn basic music skills, and have a lot of fun!
Youth Choir is off for the summer. We will be starting up again in September.
