Faith Formation News and Information 

January 1, 2009

Faith Formation classes will resume the week of January 4th. 

 

Sunday, January 4, Confirmation Level I and II, youth will meet in the church.

Monday, January 5, Elementary Levels 1st, 3rd – 5th will meet in their classrooms. 6th – 9th grades will meet in the church.

Thursday, January 8, Elementary Levels 1st, 3rd - 5th will meet in their classrooms and 6th – 9th grades will meet in the church.

Children and youth preparing for the Sacrament of Reconciliation will go directly to the church at 4:15 p.m. for practice on Monday, January 5th, and on Thursday, January 8th.
Fr. Nick will also spend some time with them in the church. Parents are reminded to bring their child to the church and to sign in with their catechists. The practice will conclude in the church at 5:30 p.m.

JANUARY 15TH

AT 5:00 P.M. IN THE CHURCH

 

WORSHIP NIGHT!!!  Come one, come all to St. Gregory the Great Catholic Church on Tuesday, January 6th at 7:00 pm for Live Praise and worship, Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament and Fellowship with your brothers and sisters of four Catholic Churches!  We will be meeting at St. Therese at 6:30 pm to carpool over there.  Don't miss out on this great opportunity to meet new people and grow in your faith!

 

King's Daughter Retreat!!  Come spend a relaxing and informative day on Saturday, January 31st from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm at St. Therese of Carmel.  This retreat is for mothers and daughter(s) ages 11 to 13 (or 6th to 8 grade) to explore some of the joys and challenges of growing to be a woman of God.  This day will include refreshments, lunch and wonderful presentations on:  "The Joys of Being a Girl, " It's More Than Curves and Nerves", "Beauty and the Beast" and "Love Languages"!

Why? To develop a friendship with Christ, create leaders for tomorrow, make friends, have fun.

How? Sports, prayer, friendship, virtues, fun!!

Who? Boys from ages 11-16

Where? St. Peter's Court - NDA playground 

When?   Saturday mornings - 9:00 am - 10:30 am

Thank you to all who attended the 11:00 am Mass December 7th. We will meet again at the 11:00 am Mass in January.
