THE SACRAMENT OF RECONCILIATION

(This information is for all parents with children receiving the Sacrament of Reconciliation for the first time)

PARENTS: You are beginning a special time of preparation with your child.  This is a grace-filled opportunity for your child to learn and grow in faith as he or she prepares to celebrate the Sacrament of Reconciliation for the first time.

It is also a time for the catechists – who teach the weekly sessions – as well as you and your family members to deepen their own faith in God and the Church.  Together we can strengthen our relationships with one another and with the parish community.

The dates for celebrating the Sacrament of Reconciliation have changed from what is printed in the calendar you received at the Parent Orientation.

Children attending Monday Sessions:

Jan. 5th – Fr. Nick will meet with the children and answer their questions.

*Jan. 12th – Sacrament of Reconciliation will be celebrated at 5:00 p.m.

Children attending Thursday Sessions:

Jan. 8th – Fr. Nick will meet with the children and answer the questions.

*Jan. 15th – Sacrament of Reconciliation will be celebrated at 5:00 p.m.

*On these dates, children receiving this Sacrament will not have class.

We continue to pray for your children and families.  May this time be one of great joy, deepened faith, and growth in your relationship with God and your child.
