Daily Mass Procedure
Lead Eucharistic Minister:
1. The Lead EMC is responsible for retrieving the ciborium(s) from the Tabernacle and placing the ciborium(s) on the altar. To accomplish this process on a timely manner, as soon as Father Nick completes reciting the “OUR FATHER………” , the designated Lead EMC should immediately proceed to the Blessed Sacrament Chapel, retrieve the ciborium(s) and place them on the altar. Please do not remove the lids.
2. The Lead EMC is also responsible for returning the ciborium(s) to the Tabernacle after
Fr. Nick completes the distribution of the Holy Eucharist.
Ministers of Wine/Cup:
1. To maintain an orderly distribution of the Holy Bread and Wine, Ministers of Cup are requested to stand farther from Fr. Nick and the Minister of Bread to provide ample space for the parishioners lining up to receive the Holy Wine.
We will need your help on Fridays when the school is not in session. Mary Ann, Shirley and Cora decided that when the EMC schedule indicates “TBD (school not in session)”, it means that we need EMC volunteers to serve that day. Volunteers are welcome to serve by showing up early (at least five minutes before the Mass) and sitting in the pew nearest the Blessed Sacrament Chapel. The first one to show up will be considered the Leader (which will be the Minister of the Bread) and the remaining two will serve as the Ministers of the Cup.
If you cannot serve on the assigned date, please arrange a substitute and notify Mary Ann Lee (Llee6@san.rr.com) or Shirley Lambert (molly3@san.rr.com)
