Hospital Visits

If you are admitted to Scripps Memorial, Green or Thorton Hospital, be sure to let them know that you are Catholic and would like a priest to visit you.  Because of privacy regulations, you must give this information on admission.

In addition to Rev. Thomas W. Thompson, Hospital Chaplain makes routine visits to the Catholic patients at each hospital.
There also are assigned Eucharistic Ministers from surrounding parishes including from St. Thérèse of Carmel that distribute daily communion at the hospitals.  St. Thérèse of Carmel Eucharistic Ministers are responsible for visiting Scripps Green on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
