Please join us in the church for the Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm on the first Friday of every month and for First Friday Holy Hour from 7:00 pm to 8:00 pm.  Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament will also take place every Tuesday from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm.

What is Eucharistic Adoration?
As Catholics, we believe in the Real Presence of Jesus' Body, Blood, Soul and Divinity in the Eucharist.  After communion, the consecrated hosts are taken to the chapel behind the main altar to the tabernacle where He yearns to receive a visit from all of us, His children, for a heart to heart moment.

Every Tuesday from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm and on First Friday from
9:00 am to 12:00 pm there will be exposition of the Most Blessed Sacrament.  When Jesus is exposed, He needs to be in company of his children (adorers) and He can't be left alone during these hours.  He is our Guest of Honor -  in the same way you would not leave your guest unattended. For this reason, we are looking for two adorers for each hour and people who would be willing to substitute if the adorer committed for the hour cannot come.

Prayer before the Blessed Sacrament is nothing less than a close, private conversation with a living person...Jesus Christ in the Eucharist.  It is about as close as we can come in this life to talking with God face to face.

To sign up as an adorer, please e-mail us at parishoffice@sttheresecarmel.org and include your name, phone,
e-mail and the day (First Friday or Tuesday) and hour you can serve.

For further information, please contact Maricruz Osorio at
